Alleluia Ringers

The Alleluia Ringers are a handbell choir directed by Barbara Elving. This ensemble provides opportunities to play in a larger group or experience small ensemble ringing. The bells are generally heard in worship once a month. Ringers play on a four octave set of Schulmerich Bells and three octaves of Malmark chimes. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Paul Room downstairs.

Brass and String Ensembles

Seasonal opportunities abound for brass and string groups and other instrumental ensembles. Brass instruments often play preservice carols on Christmas Eve and help lead hymns along with the organ on Easter. String players may take part in the cantata chamber orchestra. Instrumentalists also regularly accompany the choir and are called upon to provide musical offerings during worship.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music.
— Psalm 98:4
